Some blogging software shrinks images so they don't mess up the frames -- WordPress does this to my blog (http://configures.sarahelkins.org), too. The shrunken image actually functions as a link to the full-size picture. I was able to click through from your blog entry to the full-sized picture.
I liked your picture representation of how the different learning environment gardens strike you. I used garden pictures in the Knowledge Gardening talk I gave at an open source talk last spring, to represent some of the different problems and benefits with gardening analogies.
